Mock PBX Connection #
The Mock PBX connection is a dummy phone system which is used to automatically generate fake call events. This is very useful for demonstration systems where a consistent call flow volume is required.
The table below outlines the settings required when configuring a Mock PBX connection:
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Name | A unique name to be able to easily identify the use of the connection. |
Calls to generate (per hour) | This setting controls how many fake calls an hour are generated by the Mock PBX. |
Country | The location of the phone system connection. This is used to localize the telephone numbers for the connection. |
note
To run the Mock PBX requires at least one local area code to be configured in the Customer Settings->Reporting Settings->Local Area Codes
