Mock PBX

Mock PBX Connection #

The Mock PBX connection is a dummy phone system which is used to automatically generate fake call events. This is very useful for demonstration systems where a consistent call flow volume is required.

The table below outlines the settings required when configuring a Mock PBX connection:

Setting Description
Name A unique name to be able to easily identify the use of the connection.
Calls to generate (per hour) This setting controls how many fake calls an hour are generated by the Mock PBX.
Country The location of the phone system connection. This is used to localize the telephone numbers for the connection.
Document note
To run the Mock PBX requires at least one local area code to be configured in the Customer Settings->Reporting Settings->Local Area Codes
